Talent Acquisition Coordinator

PMML is currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join its growing team. Reporting to the President and the Executive Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract the best talent, while rigorously monitoring communications and process initiatives.

As Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will identify potential candidates, build and maintain strong relationships with them, and collaborate with the executive team to meet recruitment needs in various markets and service sectors. The successful candidate will be expected to proudly represent the company’s employer brand and understand PMML’s DNA and competitive advantage in the real estate industry in order to promote it to potential industry professionals.

Job responsibilities

  • Proactively develops and initiates first contact with candidates for our various growth areas, depending on the services and markets.
  • Evaluates, selects and presents the best candidates for the job to members of the executive team.
  • Carries out pre-selection checks, coordinates initial interviews and post-interview follow-ups with candidates.
  • Identifies and executes recruitment strategies to find the best talent; uses social networks and various platforms to source and attract passive candidates.
  • Proactively follow up with applicants to promote the company’s employer brand.
  • Post jobs on the various web platforms and/or work with the marketing team to post jobs based on priorities.
  • Sort and make an initial selection of applications via our ATS systems.
  • Carry out external monitoring and keep abreast of industry trends in order to gain an in-depth understanding of the trends and growth projections for talent acquisition in each market.
  • Execute and implement creative strategies to connect with new talent, both in person and online
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager to identify talent and key employees
  • Proactively collaborate with the Onboarding Manager to track the success of talent brought into the business as a result of your efforts
  • Support the executive team in carrying out a variety of operational tasks.

Essential qualities for success in this position:

  • University degree in organisational development or HR.
  • Relevant experience in HR/Recruitment support.
  • Proficiency in the Linkedin Recruiter platform.
  • Analytical and observational skills: You will be able to assess applications and select the best profiles in line with our various growth areas, services and markets.
  • You have a good knowledge of the commercial property sector, as well as experience of recruiting for key positions (sales, management, finance, etc.).
  • You are comfortable recruiting in both French and English, as our expansion extends beyond Quebec (Pan-Canadian Business Partners).
  • The ability to build strong relationships and interact effectively with candidates, managers and team members.
  • Recruitment is your field of choice, and you love everything about it.
  • You have an excellent ability to identify recruitment opportunities and to take proactive action to attract the best talent.
  • You’re known for your excellent communication and persuasion skills, but also for your ability to get things off your chest and enjoy interacting with others. Your sales skills will make our employer brand DNA shine, but you also know how to sniff out and select the best talent.
  • Ability to build and maintain a network of contacts and talented candidates.
  • Organisational skills and time management: Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and to organise the various stages of the recruitment process efficiently.
  • Mastery of sourcing tools and social networks: Experience with online recruitment platforms, ATS and social networks. Creativity and innovation: Ability to develop creative strategies to identify and contact new talent, both online and in person.
